March 16-17, 2019 saw AGCA’s biggest show to date at the Finley Center in Hoover, AL with over 3,000 people through the doors of the two-day event. Two hundred and thirty plus vendors with over 620 tables filled the hall with something for everyone! This spring’s gun show had an “open” theme for displays. With over 40 display tables for our judges to look over, Jon Miller of Louisville, KY took home Best of Show honors (see photo).

Categories and winners were:
Arms: 1st Jimmy Cole; 2nd George Taylor; 3rd Trey Stancil; 4th Donald Tusher; and 5th Joshua Pearson.
Edged Weapons: 1st Eddie Wayne Davis and 2nd Capt. Chris Stanaback.
Accoutrements: 1st Chris Haynes; 2nd Tom Campbell; and 3rd David Rogers.
During the Sunday morning membership meeting, two scholarships were awarded to high school seniors. Ashley Williams and Robyn Sanders both of Birmingham, were awarded $1,000 scholarships from the AGCA for their essays on the importance of the second amendment. (see photo)
